Goals: | Becoming familiar with project and building the online community | |||||||
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS: | ||||||||
Step 1. Introductory session | Explanation of key concepts about relational identities RIs, terms referred to them (TRIs), and semantic field/frame analysis. Also clarification of the procedure to follow and the technologies involved in the learning experience. | |||||||
Step 2. Diagnostic test | Delivery of students’ applications for participation, completion of initial communicative and cultural profile descriptor/test with questions about their socio-cultural profile and a brief task where applicants have to classify a given list of standard roles according to three communicative settings (family, social and professional) and to add new ones from their own experience.

Step 3. Group formation | Taking into account their profiles and answers students are organized in groups (around 4 students in each group). They vote a “group exchange coordinator” and one or two “information controller/s”. They also exchange their mobile phone numbers or email addresses and create a chat or exchange platform. | |||||||
Step 4. Ice-breaking information | They introduce themselves and have their first synchronous/asynchronous exchange on their opinions about the contents of the introductory session. | ||
